Es geht weiter!
Nachdem mein 1. Paar Socken einfarbig (mit Muster, aber aus einer Wolle), mein 2. Paar Socken mit Kontrastfarbe in Bündchen, Ferse und Spitze waren, sollte mein 3. Paar Socken mit Streifen sein.
Ja, ich bin ehrlich, die neuen Socken sind nicht wirklich in Streifen gestrickt. Sie sind in Wahrheit nur mit einem Sockengarn gestrickt, das sich selbst verstreift. Aber, ich hatte einfach Lust auf dieses Garn. Und daher nutzte ich dieses tolle Garn MEILENWEIT INTENSO von Lana Grossa, um meine Socken-Skills noch einmal zu perfektionieren.
Bei der Meilenweit Intenso handelt es sich um einen wahren Sockenklassiker von Lana Grossa. Und mittlerweile weiß ich auch warum. Die Wolle besteht aus 80 % Schurwolle und 20 % Polyamid, und fühlt sich daher ganz toll am Fuß an. Sie ist zudem waschmaschinenfest, garantiert filzfrei und extra strapazierfähig. Die Wolle erfüllt somit alle Ansprüche, die man an eine Alltags-Socke hat.

Bei diesem Socken-Projekt habe ich im Übrigen auch die Nadeln gewechselt. Anstelle der Aluminium-Nadeln von Prym in Länge 20 cm verwende ich nun die Holz-Stricknadeln Symfonie von KnitPro in der Länge 15 cm. Und ich bin begeistert!

After my 1st pair of socks were plain (with a pattern but made of one wool), my 2nd pair of socks had a contrasting color in the cuffs, heel and toe, my 3rd pair of socks was supposed to be with stripes.
Yes, I’ll be honest, the new socks aren’t really knitted in stripes. They’re actually just knitted with a sock yarn that’s self-streaking. But, I just wanted this yarn. And that’s why I used this great yarn MEILENWEIT INTENSO from Lana Grossa to perfect my sock skills again.
The Miles Wide Intenso is a true sock classic from Lana Grossa. And now I know why. The wool consists of 80% virgin wool and 20% polyamide, and therefore feels great on the foot. It is also machine washable, guaranteed non-felting and extra hard-wearing. The wool thus meets all the requirements that you have of an everyday sock.

Incidentally, I also changed the needles for this sock project. Instead of the 20 cm long Prym aluminum needles, I now use the 15 cm long Symfonie wooden knitting needles from KnitPro. And I’m excited!
Da es sich bei diesen Streifensocken tatsächlich bereits um mein 3. Paar selbstgestrickter Socken mit Käppchenferse handelt, muss ich gestehen, dass sie mir wirklich recht einfach von der Hand gegangen sind. Das Prinzip des Socken-Strickens ging mir anscheinend ganz gut ins Blut über.

Daher plane ich aktuell bereits mein 4. Paar Socken. Und ich weiß, dass meine nächsten Socken definitiv mit einem gestricktem Muster sein werden. Was für ein Muster ich stricken werden, das verrate ich aber noch nicht. Nur eins vorweg: Ich werde euch dazu ein YouTube-Tutorial aufnehmen. Ich freu mich schon darauf.
Since these striped socks are actually my 3rd pair of self-knitted socks with cap heels, I have to admit that they were really easy for me to make. Apparently the principle of sock knitting got into my blood quite well.

That’s why I’m currently planning my fourth pair of socks. And I know my next socks will definitely be with a knitted pattern. I won’t tell you yet what kind of pattern I’m going to knit. Just one thing in advance: I will record a YouTube tutorial for you. I’m looking forward to it.
