Was gibt es cooleres, als das passende Daily Accessoires für die eigene Unterwäsche zu nähen?!? Natürlich nichts!
Aber im Ernst. Da mich dieses Unterwäsche-Set so in Frühlings-Laune versetzt hat, wollte ich unbedingt einen passenden, coolen Fischerhut dazu nähen. Wahrschleinlich lag es daran, dass ich vor Kurzem „Next in Fashion“ auf Netflix angesehen habe und der Gewinner immer Fischerhüte getragen und auch für seine Models genäht hatte. Und da ich bereits einige Fischerhüte besitze, wusste ich, dass ich diese einfachen Bucket Hats wirklich liebe und sie mir auch verdammt gut stehen.
Ich hatte kein Schnittmuster für den Hut auf Vorrat, doch für solch einfache Accessoires findet man mittlerweile im Internet ganz schnell ein kostenloses Schnittmuster. Ich habe meins bei GOLDSCHOOL gefunden. Das Schnittmuster ist für einen Kopfumfang von ca. 58 cm geeignet. Die Seitenwand musste ich jedoch etwas anpassen, da es im Bruch nicht sauber liegt, aber ansonsten funktionierte der Schnitt super. Natürlich sollte der Hut aus den zu dem Unterwäsche-Set passenden Materialien bestehen. Die Basis wollte ich aus dem blauen Jeans-Stoff mit der roten Spitze als Highlight nähen. Das Futter sollte in Gelb strahlen. Da ich für das Hut-Futter aber keinen elastischen Effekt-Lycra verwenden wollte, habe ich einen gelben Baumwoll-Stoff dafür verwendet. Die Kombination sieht einfach spitze aus!
Beim Nähen hat sich gezeigt, dass ich die rote Spitze mit kleinen Zick-Zack-Stichen an den Jeans-Stoff applizieren musste. Zum einen, weil die verwendete Spitze elastisch war und sie sich sonst auf dem Jeans-Stoff verzogen hätte. Zum anderen, weil sich die Spitze dank der Applikation viel sauberer verarbeitet aussieht. Leider hatte ich nicht genügend Spitze, also konnte ich sie nur für den Hutdeckel verwenden. Ich hoffe, dass ich das nächste Mal genügend Spitze für den kompletten Hut habe. Ich denke, das könnte noch extravaganter aussehen.

But seriously. Since this underwear set got me in the mood for spring, I really wanted to sew a cool bucket hat to go with it. It’s probably because I recently watched „Next in Fashion“ on Netflix and the winner always wore bucket hats and sewed them for his models too. And since I already own quite a few bucket hats, I knew that I really love these simple bucket hats and they look damn good on me too.
I didn’t have a pattern for the hat in stock, but for such simple accessories you can now find a free pattern very quickly on the Internet. I found mine at GOLDSCHOOL. The pattern is suitable for a head circumference of approx. 58 cm. However, I had to adjust the side wall a bit because it doesn’t lie neatly in the fold, but otherwise the cut worked great. Of course, the hat should be made of materials that match the underwear set. I wanted to sew the base out of the blue denim fabric with the red tip as a highlight. The lining should shine in yellow. But since I didn’t want to use an elastic effect Lycra for the hat lining, I used a yellow cotton fabric for it. The combination just looks great!
When sewing it turned out that I had to apply the red lace to the denim fabric with small zigzag stitches. On the one hand, because the lace used was elastic and otherwise it would have warped on the denim fabric. On the other hand, because the tip looks much cleaner thanks to the application. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough lace so I could only use it for the hat cap. I hope next time I have enough lace for the whole hat. I think this could look even more extravagant.
Das Nähen war eingentlich super einfach. Ich habe zuerst einen Jeans-Hut mit Spitze und danach einen Futtstoff-Hut aus der gelben Baumwolle genäht. Diese habe ich miteinander verstürzt und den Rand dann mit einem Schrägband aus dem gleichen Jeansstoff eingefassst. Und fertig war dieser coole Fischerhut.
The sewing was actually super easy. First I sewed a denim hat with lace and then a lining fabric hat from the yellow cotton. I folded them together and then bordered the edge with a bias tape made of the same denim. And this cool bucket hat was finished.
